Secure online banking

Bankbiztonság

Be careful!

Fraudsters often pretend to be bank officers or regulatory officials and try to convince you that the money in your account is at risk. To prevent losses, they usually ask you to install an application that provides remote access and/or ask you to provide your online banking login details and confirmation password. The aim of fraudsters is to scare you and cause alarm, so they use communication designed to achieve this.  Neither the Bank nor the authorities will ever ask you to install any program on your IT device, nor will they ever ask you to provide confidential information, netbank login details, or to transfer your money to a "security account" or withdraw your money in cash and hand it over to them. If the Bank detects suspicious activity on your account/card, it will take the necessary steps without asking you or involving you. If you find a call or transaction suspicious, hang up immediately and call the Bank without delay at 06 80 350 350 from within Hungary or +36 1 373 3399 from abroad. Protecting your data is key to preventing fraud. If you suspect that you have been the victim of fraud, please call the Bank immediately at the above numbers.

Where can I block my bank card and change my password?
