MBH Bank again awarded Top Employer

MBH Bank has again been awarded the prestigious Top Employer 2025 rating, awarded by the European Top Employers Institute in recognition of outstanding employer practices. MBH Bank was ranked the best among Hungarian banks and the second highest among companies, scoring well above standards in all sub-categories of the survey.⁣

Following the year 2024, MBH Bank achieved this year again international recognition for excellence in employer organisation. Every year, the European Top Employers Institute rewards companies that provide excellent working conditions for their employees and implement the best strategies in the field of human resources. The Institute's aim is to research and promote HR trends and programmes that make the world of work a better place, worldwide.

In its annual survey, the Top Employers Institute examines companies across six HR areas, covering a range of employee-related sub-themes such as HR strategy, work environment, talent management, learning, diversity and employee well-being. MBH Bank has the best aggregate score among domestic banks and the second highest score in the corporate sector, with which it could surpass the 2024 score.

One of MBH Bank's most prominent HR initiatives is the generation diversity programme, which provides support across the entire career of employees. The first component of the programme is Start+ for career starters, under which the bank provides recent graduates with individual vocational training and a one-year work contract. And the Start programme, which precedes Start+, helps trainees, as the bank believes it is vital for a company to be aware of young people's preferences and to keep up to date with new trends by updating their existing knowledge. The Baby+ programme is aimed at employees with families, with opportunities to help those with young children return to work. The MMM+ programme specifically supports workers with a disability, with training tailored to individual needs and community-building initiatives. And the Active+ scheme provides an age-tailored benefits package for workers over sixty, including health screenings and mental health counselling.

The success of the programme is measured not only in internal feedback but also in other international recognition. In recent years, the bank has won a number of HR awards in various categories, including the "Most Loved Workplace" certificate in Newsweek's "Global Most Loved Workplaces 2023" list, and in 2023, the bank was also awarded the Best Female Workplace Award by the Hungarian Women's Career Development Association. MBH Bank will continue to focus on employee support and development, including the integration of early career and experienced professionals, and will place a strong emphasis on employee community building programmes.
