The system is based on two-factor authentication (SCA – Strong Customer Authentication), which means that two different confirmations are required to log in and approve transactions, making unauthorised access significantly more difficult.

MBH Direct Bank is particularly beneficial for companies that perform a large number of financial transactions on a regular basis.

What are the conditions for using the Online Trader service?

Online Trader is MBH Bank's internet-based foreign exchange trading system, which provides corporate clients with real-time, independent foreign exchange trading opportunities. The following requirements must be met in order to use the service:

  • Bank accounts held with MBH Bank: you must have a HUF or foreign currency account opened in the former Budapest Bank or MKB Bank systems, which has been integrated into MBH Bank.
  • Technical requirements: you must have the technical background necessary for the system to operate (adequate internet connection, computer, browser, etc.).
  • Treasury framework agreement: the customer must have a valid treasury framework agreement that regulates the framework for foreign exchange market transactions.
  • Online Trader agreement: a separate agreement specifically for the Online Trader service must also be concluded.
  • In the case of forward transactions, additional conditions apply, which are regulated in detail in the framework agreement and the MBH Bank Business Rules.

The system allows your company to execute foreign exchange transactions quickly, flexibly and directly – without the need for a direct treasury contact for each transaction.

How to apply for a bank card POS/VPOS terminal?

Applying for a POS (physical terminal) or VPOS (virtual terminal) required for accepting bank card payments is a quick and easy process at MBH Bank. Follow the steps below:

  1. Contact us: First, indicate your request to your corporate account manager or visit any MBH bank branch, where you can start the card acceptance service application process.
  2. Consultation: A bank employee will contact you by phone to discuss the terms and conditions of the service and your needs in detail.
  3. Installation or integration:

    • For POS terminals: Our employee will perform on-site installation and commissioning at a pre-arranged time and demonstrate how the terminal works.
    • For VPOS terminals: The bank provides technical support for the development and integration of the online payment system so that you can accept electronic payments in your online store without any problems.
  4. Contract: The bank will provide you with the POS/VPOS Card Acceptance Service Agreement and the final documentation after the terminal has been installed or the online system has been activated.

Qvik is a modern, transfer-based payment solution built on the Instant Payment System, which enables fast, simple and secure electronic payments – without the use of cash or bank cards.

  • NFC-based contactless payment: payment can be initiated with a mobile phone by physical contact.
  • Deeplink payment: a pre-filled transfer that can be initiated via a link sent by the merchant.
